Yea just asking you guys your opnions on the new 06 Eclipse? Well, from my point of view I say the car looks like a freaking space ship on wheels or a webber grill on wheels hehe. I absolutely hate the way it looks!!!

I think the spyder is pretty hot, but the coupe is meh

 

It's slowly growing on me.

yea, commercials and pictures make it look alright, but in person it's
same w/ the solara, it looked good in the pictures

i've also heard it's very uncomfortable to sit in, ESPECIALLY in the back seat

but few tweaks, i think it can be a great looking car

 

Interior is OK.

Overall....the new G6 vert is a more attractive car then this bubbly turd. And I dont like the G6.

 

Too bubbly. Looks like a some sort of futuristic bug.

The power is OK, nothing spectacular. Yes, the backseat is VERY uncomfortable, and I'm 5'7. Anyone taller sitting in the back, will be UNCOMFORTABLE. Not to mention, my head kept on hittin the pillar I think it was...very small space inside the vehicle. Gears were somewhat easy to engage. And Crazy88, they slapped the lancer rallyart engine, if I'm not mistaken....they should be the same as the rallyarts, but they are heavier, by like 200 lbs give or take...

I think the Eclipse is the ugliest thing on wheels , if someone gave me it I would trade it in for cash at the Mitsubishi dealer

I think it looks pretty sporty, way better than the last generation.

But nothing that someone over the age of 22 should own.

 

i saw it for the first time in a parking lot a few days ago...it is awful looking.

 

IMO one of the ugliest coupes on the road.

 

I still don't care for it. Or anything else in the Mitsubishi lineup.

i had a 98 gst. still one of the most entertaining cars i've owned. amazing how they can design that car so well then screw up the next generations so badly...especially considering their future is very much at stake. it's so easy to design a nice looking vehicle without getting too funky. i'm not sure why it's so hard for mitsu do so.

 

guess i'm in the minority here, but i think it looks nice...
