What would you do if you were in this situation
Ok my head is so twisted right now. I'm debating on what I want to do with my cars. I have 2 cars "2003 Touring 350z 5AT and a 97 Integra LS as a daily driver. The Z is rarely driven at the moment. However I kind of want to just stick with 1 car to save on insurance also and just be happy with it. My integra is lightly modified with some tasteful mods. However I kind of want to sell my integra and trade in my z as for the new IS350 which is a nice luxury FAST car. What would you do if you were me?
Keep Integra & 350Z
or
Trade Z and integra in and be happy with the brand new IS350.

How's your job security? What would happen if you lost your job? Not to sound like a prick, but these are just questions you need to ask yourself. Just go with the car that you like the most after driving a bunch of them, but not before you consider the potential outcomes.
If my company was doing really well, nobody else in that sector is getting laid off, etc. then yeah I'd do it, though the IS admittedly not my first choice.

Drive the Z alone for a while. Maybe since you don't drive it as much you don't appreciate is as much. If in a couple months you still feel the same then trade them for the IS.
For now, just post the Integra for sale, and see how much you will get. It will be more than trading it in.

I remember the days when I had my brand new 2000 TL and an 87 Celica. It was great driving the Celica all week and then "spoiling" myself in the TL on weekends. I have one car now and I fel bad building the miles on it so fast.
I think you should keep a beater regardless of what your occasional car is.

Thats the reason why I bought the integra as a daily driver. However I miss my 2000 LGM TL so much . I wish i had that car as a daily driver. But yeah I might just keep both cars since I'm almost done paying off the Z. I don't know how I got so bored of the Z. I don't appreciate it as when I first I got it, I used to wax it every week. Now its always sitting in the garage and driving it once in a while.

Me thinks 350Z>IS250. IS350 would be different story.

well alot of people been saying keep the Z i don't how good it is of a car i never drove it, Integra should go either way.
All i know is Lexus is amazing and once you choose Z or IS i don't think you can regret any choice you make.

Sucky part is its a AUTO TIPTRONIC and not a 6 speed

^ talking about the Lexus or the Z?
I agree, sell the teg and keep the Z for a while. or drive the Z more often. I'd part out the integra then sell it, spend the cash on Z mods. but bottom line, it's your car.

I used to do the same thing, OP - drive my crappy looking Integra 5MT daily then on the weekends take my mom's 2G TL-S. I took care of the TL... washing it when it got dirty, vacuuming, interior detailing, etc. and it was a garage queen when I wasn't driving it. It may be the combination of smaller size, lighter weight, and the mods I had on the Integra, but while the TL was fast and actually handled better than the Integra, IMO the Integra was more fun to drive. It was just kinda embarrassing to be seen in. I think the most important thing was the 5-speed manual... which is why my next car absolutely would have had to been stick.
When I drive an automatic for a long time without driving a manual, it feels like I lose a bit of technique and skill of driving stick. Jerkier shifts, totally off rev matches and downshifts, and just an awkward feeling in general rowing the gears. It almost feels like I'm learning again. So if anything, if I had to have an IS, it would have to be the IS250 6MT, unless it had a REALLY crappy clutch/shifter/transmission
At the moment I do have the option of using our old reliable 97 Civic beater as a daily but its gutless and automatic!
