Racing is a breeding ground for car technology, some of which we see on a mass produced level some years later. What tech would you want to see in mass produced cars, whether it be from F1 or even hyper cars like the 918, LaFerrari, P1 etc.? (Maybe even luxury features from a Rolls/S-Class)
Personally I think in this day and age, the idea of jacking a car up is tasking and occasionally dangerous. Yes I'm young and lazy, but I would like to see it at least on sports cars to make them easier/safer to work on. Also bringing down the cost of carbon fiber over the next few years would be ideal.

Carbon fiber tech, as you mentioned. Weight reduction is the most effective way to enhance performance and fuel efficiency. Further, as hybrid technology becomes more and more prevalent, it'd be great to see lighter and more advanced batteries. While batteries are better than they used to be, they still haven't advanced a whole lot over the years. Until they can be charged fully in <5 minutes or less and can last as long as a full tank of gas, they'll be the bain of EVs.
Side note, in my op I meant to self-jacking mass produced cars.
