What model BMW did I see?

At the car audio place today (Sounds Unlimited in Glendale), and parked there is a 2 door BMW, with an "AC Schnizter" badge, but I didn't recognize the model. It looked longer than the 3 series I've seen, but looking on ac schnizter's web page I couldnt find any model that looked similar.

Anyone know of some long 2 door bmws? It was actually really well done, finally a bmw with 5 spoke rims. I guess it could have been an 8 series but I didn't see any ac schnitzer upgrades for the 8 series (or else they just dont list them on their web page anymore).

I think it was the owner's car, judging from the "Snd Unlm" license plate (or something to that effect).

I did look at the bmw site, and I couldn't find anything that looked exactly like it (it's probably not the newest model).

I think it's definitely a 6 series though, it looks a lot like the one posted above, but the back is a fair amount wider and not as round.

I'll just ask them when I go pick up my HU...

So does my post just bring up Red X's above or was that not the car you saw?
Long, 2 door, 5 spoke, and my pics even say AC Schnitzer on the rear Euro License Plate.

PS: Are you in La Canada as in near Pasadena, CA?

Your post displays fine, the car is just a little different than the one I saw (it had a ac schnitzer badge where our 3.2 TL badges are) ((along with being wider and less round)).

Yep, la canada as in near pasadena, surprising amount of people on here live in LC (considering how small it is).

Sounds to me like an 8 series.

The one pictured above has a body kit. If it isn't the newest 6 it would be rather old since the 6 hasn't been around for quite a few years. Sounds like it is an 8 which was produced significantly after the last 6.

FYI, the E24 6 series ended production with the 1989 model year. The E31 8 series began production in 1990 as a 1991 model in the US.
