I know I might get shit for this, but what an idiot for going so fast in what looks like a residential area. He's all over the place, too.

Fast car, lots of great work, but jackass move filming in that location.

All he was doing was testing out the car, so how is he a dumb driver? It looked like an industiral area more than a residential area. I would also love to have 1000+ hp sc300

I didn't click the link but from the pic I'm sure I've seen the vid before. Yeah, its on streetfire... sick. Twin turbo SC300, with a 3-speed sequential tranny, plenty of room for the turbos to spool themselves up. I don't remember what turbos he has set up but IIRC they were pretty huge.

That is one crazy video, and a super fast car. I wouldnt call him a dumb driver...you can see him putting on his helmet and then also pulling the chute towards the end. Might not be the best place to test, but you could tell he was into the safety side of things.

Ray, there's a bunch of those IS/SC 300's with turbo's down in NJ, ain't there ??

beats the hell out of me why they would test this hotrod on the streets... That is nuts.

Good for one thing and one thing only... going fast in a straight line.

Nothing new, fast sc300 fast supras... they are a dime in a dozen.

Well considering that he more than likely build it to go fast in a straight line. It sure in the hell is fast in a straight line.

Nothing new and dime a dozen??? That’s always a good reason to not want a 1000 hp car.

Your car is nothing new and a dime a dozen but you still bought it.

That's whats funny...he put his helmet on and throws the chute in a residential neighborhood.

What do you call someone who tests out a 1000hp car on public roads?

I am not a big fan of fast cars that can only go straight. I personally enjoy a car's performance with some turns and a few straight away bursts...=)

I agree that is one fast 2jzgte... which is nothing new.
I would not want a 1000hp car. That is just stupid fast. I would not risk my life racing that car. I'd probably hire someone to drive it, but then again... why the hell would I dump all that money into a car if its not going to be an investment or give me some sort of leisure driving it?

What would make this car interesting and stand out would be using the larger displacement 1uzfe and making huuge power.

Drag racing is not my cup of tea... Maybe 10 years ago. Tracking my car is my hobby. Instead of finding me at the drag strip (which is so boring after a while), im honing my driving skills at the race track. Its pretty easy to make a car go fast in a straight line... at a race track thats a whole different ball game.
