What do you think about the Toyata Avalon?
280HP 3.5 V6 plus all the goodies for $40k Canadian? I think I'll have to check this one out as a CL-S replacement. Wonder if it will be available with a manual transmission?

I sat in it at the car show. It's definitely not anywhere near a sport sedan, but it looks pretty nice, is extremely comfortable, is very well built (feels like a Lexus) and has good power. I personally wouldn't get one, but if you value comfort, reliability and space over sport, it's an excellent choice

My father loves his Avalon. I think he's on his third one.
Yes, the demographics reflected in the above posts are right on. Like many Toyotas, even though it's a bit unexciting, it is a reliable car and he's put over 100K on each one trouble free. Having been in the driver's seat, passenger seat and rear seats, I must say it is quite roomy and comfortable.

I've sat in one and drove one. It's not that exciting to drive(even though it's 280 hp). Like others said you can tell it's a old timer's car. if that's your thing thats fine.
If it was me i'd save a little more paper and go for either a:
New TL no navigation
or
Maxima(i don't like the new styling but if you do more power to you man)
or
Altima SE-R 3.5 (this is the one I'd go for man) with the 6 speed. it not only looks nice. but the factory wheels GO GREAT WITH THAT CAR. . This will run close to the new TL. plus you get a lot of bang for the buck.

u defintely dont know much about 300c...
300c is basically an E class and it has GREAT gas mileage for a V8...if i remember correctly it s 18/28... because it only use 4 of the 8 cylinders normally and all u have to do it step a little deeper and u will get the 340 HP.
