I was thinking that too but I think I would rather have the loaded Mazda than a Base Camry for the same $$$.

I still like the Jetta TDI but I can't find any info on the 07's. Did they discontinue them???

At 100 miles a day a gasoline/electric hybrid would start to pay dividends pretty damn quick with fuel economy. A used Prius or something. Plus its a tax write off.

I dunno if it's gonna be that low. I was getting 34mpg with my manual transmission. I know that the 5MT wasn't rated that high.

Exactly, talk to some people who actually have the car, dont take the crap EPA estimates as gospel.

The new EPA ratings are 'supposed' to be alot more accurate. Thats what sodaluvr was referring to, the new ratings.

Regarding the gas mileage, from an acutal owner, its not all great. I've never gotten over 30mpg.
