its a 3g tranny

its pretty simple if you are inclined. buy some truck jacks and jack up the front eng of the car, drop the lower k frame and remnove the axles.

once the axles are removed and out of the way undo the shift cables

then unbolt all the electric clips off of the trans along with any other lines running to it.

use a 14 szed socket with an air gun and remove all the bolts around the trans,

the pressure plate bolts are sized 10 and can be removed by hand (there are 6 of them)

replace clutch and put it back together.

my job was easier because the entire engine was out for overhaul.

Replaced the defective CT icebox lid with a new one they sent me. Discovered a snapped bolt in one corner; from over tightening it. $3.77 at the dealership for a new one. =P

What value.

Got 30mpg on the drive to work. On the way home, that will drop to at least 25mpg.

put WD-40 on the stock camber bolts. going to install ingalls camber kit so thought I'd hit the bolts with some WD-40 so they don't put up a fight trying to take them off.

also put anti seize on the threads for the ingalls camber kit, this should prevent the camber kit from seizing once installed on the car. and then hit the camber bars with some tremclad "rust" black high gloss paint. (i bought the bars used so they had some "wear/tear" on them)

I've waited too long to install the camber bars so this should save my tires and hopefully slow down the rust on the bars once installed (yes i drive the car in the winter).

oh and cleaned up the clear bra on the car, polished the bra with plastx brought back the clarity to the bra.

Smoked the tires thru 1st, into 2nd and got them to spin going into 3rd getting on to the interstate. Made me feel all giddy, and all sorts of immature. Boy did that make me feel good. I almost want to go out and do it again.

This morning, I was surprised at the amount of traction and minimal rear wheel spin as I launched from a redlight. I continued around some curves as the RWD provided excellent.... ohh wait.

This is an Acura thread?

J/k. I hope my Acura is being loved by its new owners today as it was when I sold it.

swapped out the master cylinder in hopes it would fix the brake issue and nope, the pedal still likes to go to the floor to stop the car.

If you bled every brake in the proper sequence after installing a good master cylinder, the problem may be the ABS modulator/accumulator.
