What Acura/Honda made you go wow! when they first came out?

Keep Right Except to Pass
The NSX.
Also the third-generation Prelude with the four-wheel steering. Always liked that car, and I've never thought any subsequent Prelude ever looked anywhere near as nice. Since I turned 16 in 1989 I was never able to afford one until many years later, so I never got one.

Is this WOW in a good way, or WOW in a bad way?

Early 90's Accords, the old boxy ones. I was probably 5 or 6 years old and I loved the styling for some odd reason, even to this day, I still think it's a beautiful car
The 01-02 CL Type-S is still one of my favorite cars of all times, as well...

I was not a Honda fan for most of my life, when I was younger I didn't "get" the S2000, I thought the NSX was over hyped and across the board felt the cars were poorly constructed - I was blind, but now I see. I worked in a garage for a long time and I started seeing patterns, common problems certain makes had over others and started documenting this, that's when Honda really started to stand out, I started paying serious attention to them and trying to learn more about why they just didn't break nearly as often as most other cars, to this day I still don't know the answer but it seems to hold true. I get the brilliance of the S2000 and see what a revolutionary car the NSX is to this day and appreciate how unique it was when it was first introduced.
Answering the question the TSX really caught my attention, more so then the American made TL, then I really started to appreciate the S2k, the civic for what it was, and the accord is a great "normal" car.

1st Acura wow for me was the original Legend in 1986. It was such a quantum leap from previous Honda products in regards to fit, finish, and refinement. Plus it was the first of the upscale Japanese name-brands.
First Honda wow was the 3rd Gen Accord which also debuted in 1986. It was the Accord all grown up, and was VERY superior to the market segment competition from Toyota (Camry) and Nissan (Stanza).

The 2nd gen CRX. I remember distinctly as a kid walking with my parents into the mall and seeing one out in the parking lot. Just something about that little window in the back that made me say I'm gonna have one of those someday. Got one as my 2nd car and still miss the go-cart handling of it.
I also loved the body style of the 4th gen preludes when they first came out. I wanted one so bad at one point but ended up getting a 240SX instead.

The NSX because of it made a huge impact to the supercar world. NSX-R and FD2 Civic Type R because their lap times on different tracks are simply amazing given their hp and weight.

The S2000 and well, the NA2 NSX I guess... didn't see an NSX/knew they even existed until I was like 6 or 7 years old
And of course the 4G TL for all the wrong reasons.

I've always been a fan of the 4th gen Accord. Then came the 3G TL and I really like the S2K.

First generation Honda Civic. Starting with 1973 I believe. Not kidding. In 1976, friends of my parents had just purchased a new Civic. At eleven years old, I had already developed a lust for cars and asked to go for a ride in it. It handled, it sounded nice, you could shift it, and it looked like nothing else available. And even at a young age I could tell it was a quality vehicle. I'm old enough to remember the Domestic offerings at the time, and there was absolutely NOTHING comparable in it's class. In my opinion, a car that was indeed revolutionary, as it proved small cars could offer both quality and driving entertainment. If I could find one locally that was in great shape, I'd buy it instantly.
That little Civic eventually rusted away, but not until going a couple hundred thousand mile without a whimper.

Wow, excellent choice. I totally forgot about it. I too loved the CRX Si. I wanted one desperately in 1989 but it was like $15k and I couldn't afford it as It was 18 and in college and not inclined to work and go to school until I had to (about two years later).

3rd Generation Integra. And it still does. If Acura re-sold the Integra today with some improvements using today's technologies (HID headlights, etc). I would have gladly bought one.
