What is acura doing???
Ok I just went to the autoshow last weekend here in Charlotte NC and I loved it.
I really like the new acuras out and a lot of other companys do have a lot of nice cars out there. Anyway though the guy there was talking about how acura is switching all there navigations over to the (whatever that big button that controls it is called). I was wondering why arent they doing touch screen anymore? Those seem so much easier to use to me. Any thoughts at all on this?
My guess is that touch-screen has a tendancy to be more problematic when it comes to reliability....and that Acura is following the heard when it comes to the "joystick" controller.

I dont know about you guys, but I much prefer scrolling through the keyboard in the RL to poking around trying to hit letters in my TL... but thats probably due to the fact that the 2nd gen has that ridiculously small screen

The car makers that are putting V8's in their vehicles are putting them in 60k or 70k vehicles. BMW 6 series and up, Lexus LS, Mercedes has them in the most expensive cars.
I can see the need for RWD, but as far as competing people don't buy V8's.
but the trend that acura has been following is to incorperate the SH-AWD systems in their cars to get an edge on competition. As for the V8, there really isn't a big need for it as the V6's provide a good amount of power and good gas mileage.

Well apparently a lot of people want a lot of things about acura changed. I think all of you bring up some reallly good points about stuff that I didnt even orginally discuss and about the topic. Now all we need is for acura to read these boards.
