That's true.

The gas guzzlers are in a class all their own.

Good luck with that X5 it has the most vehicle recalls in the history of automaking. It has out done the Dodge Neon, very stiff competition.

He's partially right, the X5 has about the most recalls out of all SUVs/SAVs.....last time I checked it was in the 11-12 area I believe.

Also, don't put the X5 in the same category as a full size SUV. A 3series wagon has more versatility than an X5.

LEDS and Conepts

yes, those are LED driving lights. G35 is getting them in 2005. coupe, sedan, and AWD.

And the 'concept' is already at 95% as the Nissan Fuga in Japan. The picture you're seeing is 95% production ready, or so I was told by a zone manager...

The M45, er, the NEW M45 will start at about $35k (2wd V6) and go to $50k (AWD V8). We think it will have *almost* as big of impact on the market as the G35 did...

all i said was it's an awesome rig. my parents (now my sisters) 4.4 hasn't had any major problems. imo there is no way any 3 series is more versitile than an x5.

coming back from a week long fishing trip last summer we had to take a 50 mile detour on a road that a 3 series couldn't even think about driving on.

The new M45 will be beautiful. The FUGA pics at the auto show were just as gorgeous. The new GS coming in 2005 looks like a HUGE Maxima. Let's see if the M45 can deliver on Lexus like interior appointments.

Nissan has copied Lexus left and right. The Altima has IS 300 tails, the Altima/Maxima looks like the 2nd generation GS On crack. SO of course the 3rd gen GS would be compared to the new Max. Hell, you can see the GS/Passat profile in the curved roof of the QX56.

The new M35/45 can only be better than what they sell now.

Even if Nissan did rip-off the GS design doesn't mean they GS couldn't reinvent itself. Even without comparing it to the Max, I was very disappointed with the design (like many people on ClubLexus). It is unoriginal, conservative, and is slated to receive the same 4.3L V8. It also looks much larger than its predecessor which is a mistake since the GS is supposed to be the midsize sport sedan in the Lexus lineup. If Toyota wanted a younger demographic to buy the car, its heading the wrong way
