anyone know of any? my brother has a 2001 jetta. he needs to refill his coolant (radiator fluid). VW dealer says the Jettas need the coolant made specifically for Jettas. is there such a thing? thought i'd have him look at Jetta forums if there was any. thanks.

yep, G12 (the pink stuff) is the coolant the Audi's and VW's use. It's a bit pricey unfortunately. Mix with water 1:1. vwvortex is a good site for jetta questions.

Another suggestion: check the manual, it probably says something about the coolant, as well.

I have an '01 Jetta - I'd check the manual for you, but my wife has it at work right now!
