Hey. im getting my sisters S40 when she leaves for college (shes a senior now) and i was thinking about getting smoked out head/tail lights. anyone have a picture of this? or any thoughts. the car is black/black and is a 2006 model not the T5 sadly lol.
or ay other suggestions to give it some more personality?

The major players in Volvo parts are Heico, Evolve and IPD. Evolve is probably the most popular.
Don't have pics of the smoked lights, but only do the tail. Blacked out headlights are ghetto.

 

modded volvos look great! but its very expensive stuff! Heico and Evolve will kill your wallet!

Those modded S40s seriously look awesome, but the wheel wells need to be pushed higher up, especially the rear.

I had a friend with a chip tuned for nitrous on his c70, that thing was a beast off and on the spray. If i remember correctly, off the sprat with i/h/e/chip, he ran low 13's high 12's, and on the spray he ran low 12's. His main problem was traction and i think he used drag radials. I cant remember as it was a while back.

Yeah, those are the C70's, and the reason for traction, cuz its FWD. If your lookin to mod it, I'd say MAYBE smoke the lights (front n rear), TINT, look into gettin some HID's for it, set of wheels, drop, and it'd be good to cruise. If you seriously going to mod it, flip it and sell it, and pickup an 850 turbo, or an S70 T-5 manual...

Evolve is way overpriced, and not much good for the common folks, and the rest aren't too shabby...
