302hp at the wheels? kinda disapointed. if you want something s/c in that price range= COBRA. although you cant really compare the build quality.

cool video though

every car Ford makes is terrible, except for Crown Victorias(cop cars). The quality is very shotty, and they are known to break down a lot.

What...? You're dissapointed at 302 at the wheels...?

What's that, like 350 HP+ at the crank...? Wouldn't that be almost an extra 100 hp? Please...someone who knows, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they lose HP from the crank to the wheels.

I'd take it in a second, either way.

Chris, its more like 70hp not 100 because the G coupe comes with 280 from the factory.

It gives about the same as the CT SC with the stock 4.5lbs of boost right? I don't think its dissapointing but not out of this world either. Didn't the cobra have 320 hp before it added the SC in 03? I think the 302 of the coupe is great especially since there is still tuning to go on!

Wrong....all of the Ford's my family has driven in the last 6 years, including my old F-150 that I am driving again, while I wait for my G35c have had less problems that my TL did. We got 140k out of a F350SD and I got 60k on the F150 with no more than routing maintenance...Acura has already spent about $3000 on my car in warranty work...

I will say that Ford does seem to build their trucks better than anything else. Especially their super duty & medium duty units.

If i were to buy a truck, i would look at a ford. But i don't like trucks, so that'll never happen.

My experience with just about every other ford, however, is that they're piles of crap. Not all of them, but most of them.

Screw beating an M3, I wanted to take down an '03 Cobra!!

LMFAO

I'd shoot for the M3 1st...

302RWHP is short about 80-90RWHP of a stock 03 Cobra.

Toss a chip, exhaust and pulley on a 03 Cobra and they are going to come up 140-150RWHP short in the G35.

who cares about the cobra, it's in it's own class.

The G35 numbers are less impressive than the CT SC number. That is def an issue, they need to do something about that.

I agree it's sort of disappointing, but it will be resolved. The same supercharger makes 360 WHP on a Z

I read more on the G35 site...

They said this was at the wheels & the crank number was 357.
