Once again, I envy you Americans. You guys actually have a company that can legally import it for the general public.

Seen it, it's awesome.

even though all three cars have 280 Hp. Skyline will always stand out.

I wonder how come they all have the same numbers when it comes down to Japanese super cars.

Toyota Supra - 3.0L V6 280Hp Twin Turbo.

Nissan Skyline GTR - 2.7L I6 280Hp Twin Turbo.

Mitsubishi Lancer EVO - 2.0 H4 280Hp Twin Turbo.

Mazda RX7 - 2.7L V6 280Hp Twin Turbo.

Subaru Impreza WRX - 2.0L H4 280Hp Twin Turbo.

Importing Skylines over here doesn't come cheap though. Something like 88k for a older model? I forget...also, they have to downgrade the car because stock(As stock as skylines get) aren't street legal. Awesome video though....never knew that it could do those crazy drifts and come out of it so clean.

Heard of him and seen it too...ages ago...but if you notice, the car has Washington tags and he's actually from there. No amount of money you pay ICBC will make them insure that car for local driving.

I'm not too sure how reliable or truthful this is, but I once read somewhere that all the japanese automakers have a "gentlemen's" unspoken agreement not to officially publish/exceed that figure(domestically speaking in Japan). But, I think they will do away with that or disregard that "agreement" in the near future.

It is like you said , they all have a gentlemans agreement that for any car they sell in japan it cannot have more than 280 hp, so they simply say it has 280hp wvwn though it has a lot more in some cases.
This is ending with the new Z and the Mitsubishi evo VII.
