Updated V1

So can anyone explain why the hell this thing is so much more sensitive??

Im beginning to regret sending my old V1 in for an update now. At one light it was picking up "5" different things. It was going apeshit. Is it the PoP?

Is this just something you have to get used to now?

You can always turn off the x band, unless cops still use it around you.

Thankfully, the windshield on the challenger is so raked that with the blendmount its a quick reach up to hit mute. Its become 2nd nature, doesnt bother me.

If you really are not happy with the updte and peace of mind you have the best protection send it back to V1 and have them put it back to the way you had it with the older firmware.

Thanks Joe.

We'll see how long I can deal with it.

I have the 1.8 with PoP and get the same thing, although I don't find it all that annoying because I usually have it muted for city driving.

My drive into work today was actually not bad at all. It was reletively quiet.

I had it on the big "L" and theres this one spot on the tollway where the state trooper is every morning. I couldnt believe how accurately it pointed him out.

It must be the galleria I live by. It goes nuts over there.

ethan - get a remote mute button and mount it on your turn signal stalk... it would be alot easier to get to if you find yourself reaching up to mute it all the time...

i agree with you on the Galleria... mine always went crazy there too...
