are 350's that bad? (clutch, gearbox, weight)? ive always wanted them as a weekend car. should i think otherwise? because i would go with the s2000, but even as a weekend car, id still want it to be practical, interior wise.

the clutch and gearbox are not smooth like hondas, it can be a good or bad thing depending on you...the shifter is rough to move through gears as it feels like its directly connects you to the car.. the clutch also connects really high and is like on an on/off switch when it comes to the friction point, annoying at first but you get used to it

Drive the car and see for yourself. I test drove 2004's and a 2007and you can feel the difference b/t the VQ35DE and the VQ35HR. The 2007+ are nicer in my opinion, but you'll fall short on mods compared to the 03-05's. Stay away from the 06's and from my expieriences so far the biggest haters have been maxima and altima owners???

(Admittedly, I am still more partial to the Z32TT but love the Z33 nonetheless.)

My brother-in-law drives an 04.5 Z, he seems to like it quite a bit. I guess it may be kind of heavy, but he's also saving to put in a TT kit after he gets back from Afghanistan.

The styling just doesn't work for me, and I wasn't too impressed with the interior. I'm not a Nissan guy, but always liked the previous Z cars (Z32 especially)
