Calm your tits on the $185 stockers , I'm not going to pick them up.
Shmeh, don't get me wrong .. I like the stock wheels, I really do. But I don't like them enough to buy another set of wheels, with another set of tires.
A boost gauge is something I can actually use as soon as I get it. Plus .. dat amber matches the interior lighting perfectly
I wouldnt buy buy tires for them now either. Doesn't hurt to keep them sitting. And if you'd eventually decide you never want to use them, you'd likely lose nothing on them when selling.

Good god, we should start a gofundme for those wheels.
For $185, he could afford to have that seller deliver them to his house and ask Tire Rack to fly over with their mounting machine and they will mount, balance and install in his garage.

This made me laugh. Regardless that boost gauge is legit. Surprised that hasn't been more popular in other vehicles. Hell even in the s2000 one of the vents with one incorporated like that would be clean

The biggest issue with that is that the S2000 doesn't come stock with any boost to measure. If you want the gauge to read zero all the time then sure...

Well I know that, I'm just saying it would be a popular idea vs the cheap pillar mount pods they sell. The market for forced induction on the s2k is pretty large considering I could name 5 companies off the top of my head that have designed kits for them.

Pretty large market is a stretch. Most people don't FI the S2000 since it's expensive to do so.
Also, have you been inside of a S2000? I'm not sure I want to give up one of the two tiny little vents I have available to blow air for a boost gauge lol.

I think the S2000 has more FI than I've seen on any other non FI car from factory. 1/2 the ones you see posted anywhere have some form of FI.
I think it's fast enough stock though, personally.

Posted where? Forums? Maybe but I'd bet most just have basic intake/exhaust type of mods and not a full on turbo/supercharger set up. On the road, almost all of the ones I've come across are pretty stock or close to stock.
I also think it's plenty fast but I wouldn't mind an additional 100whp either...

I owned one for 4 1/2 years. I wasn't saying it was the smartest place for one I just said it was clean and I could see the s2000 market using one since a lot of people like the sleeper look. Like the completely stock looking s2ks with a vortec, kraftwerks, science of speed, ect. Supercharger kit and even small turbo setups.

This. I remember scrolling through eBay and 1 out of 10 would be boosted to some degree. It is expensive to boost I don't disagree with that but the price on these cars aren't that much so when you put 10k into a 15k car that will compete with corvettes, it becomes economical.
Maybe so, but putting 10k into any 15k car isn't exactly a wise financial move. Because after it's all said and done, your 15k car is now worth 18k. Just saying.

this is very true. After doing an all motor build on mine I realized that I would rather sell it and buy a boosted one that someone else already dumped money into. It's worth it if you plan on keeping the car forever but don't expect to get the money back
