Turbo m3 700hp/600ftlbs of trq

This is one fast summa ma bitch. You'll realize how fast the Ferrari 360 modena really is when you see how well it keeps up with something that has 700hp

There were a few S/C'd E46 M3's at the LA Auto Show... but this
is definately the first Turbo E46 I have seen. I stronly doubt the
motor is stock. He had a custom intake manifold to begin with!!

That car should be scary!

allmotor that car is NOT an e46. I have yet to see a E46 m3 with a turbo.

I have heard of SC e46 m3s, just none that in production as of yet.

Yup... and I just saw the videos... there is NO WAY that car has 700hp... cuz it is pretty even with the 360 Modena... it probably has around 450-500hp.

First off, that car does not have 700 horsepower. If it did, it should have been walking away from the Ferrari, Porsche, and Laborghini like nothing. If anything that car has about high 400's low 500's.

But do you see what I'm saying, that M3 was barely passing the 400 hp Modena. Then there's the Porsche, that' s the quickest accelarating car, next to the lambo. So I don't know man; 700 is an overestimate it seems. Do you know how much horespower that is!! That's more than a McLaren F1 or Enzo meaning that this car should be doing mid to high 10's/low 11's in the quarter-mile and I know for a fact that, if anything, those cars (lambo, modena, turbo) do low to mid 12's and if lucky, high elevens. So 700 seems like an overestimate.

Also... they rebuild the engine with low compression pistons... So it's not like it would be too exciting to see a bootsed e46 from these guys. Since they rebuild the engine for boost

I doubt the stock E46 longblock could handle much more than 5-7psi without risking a lot.

ya I agree 700hp in that car it would demolish all of those cars. Especially from a roll. No way it's 700hp. Maybe it peaks at 700hp with 200ft/lbs or torque hehehe

agreed 11:1 compression isn't boost friendly.....unless somebody implements some sort of Cryo-intercooler but even then.....

I think the E36 is an iron block; not sure though, but it should be able to handle good power with new pistons. I don't think anyone has tested the limits due to the ridiculous cost.

Yeah...its nice, but correct me if I am wrong but a 50k stock Z06 can hang with all of those cars too. At least with the Porshce (non-turbo) and the Ferarri...

Actually the ZO6 will kill a non-turbo Porsche, but a Turbo one; it would be close.

sorry, porsche turbo would spank a z06

porsche turbo 0-60: ~3.6

z06 0-60: ~4.3-4.5

4.5 is what r&d tested it.

...and awd to boot...The Porsche should eat a Z06...
The new Porsche Turbo is a monster...My dad let me drive his once after he got it, and I scared him so bad he won't let me drive it again...
It's sad...He won't go near 5k rpm's w/o shifting...The car's even got so much power in 3rd or 4th just cruisng around at 45mph, to eat most anything on the road, that it's crazy...

the e46 m3 is pretty much maxed out. It can take a little more. But there is also the line between street legal and not. Even not, the car is pretty much pushing it on the stock internals. The m is blowing mototrs left and right as it is. I'd say it really needs custom work to strengthen up the internals

For the same price as a 911 turbo maybe even cheaper, i'd rather have a lingenfelter twin turbo 6.0 litre vette. 0-60 in 2.4 and quarter mile in mid to late 9's, All street legal, on street tires, with warranty and le mans tuned suspension.
