So I elected to take traffic school and had 90 days to do it. Of course I waited to take the fucking class then did it online on the 28th around 8pm. I thought I had till March 2nd (I thought they went by the day you got the ticket not the day you paid it) so I didn't care. Finished the four hour class at 12:30 AM March 1st. 90 days were up on Feb 28th. They send me a letter stating that it will not be accepted and that I have to pay a $55 penalty, points will be added to my license insurance goes up etc...

Anyway around this at this point? Or am I just fucked?

Or try to reason with them. Here's some excuses:

1) "But I thought 2007 was a leap year?!"
2) "I really finished the class at 11:30PM. Daylight savings came early this year."
3) "I took the class on the 28th and finished March 1st on dial-up. I can't afford high-speed."

 

Meh my $185 ticket turned into a $270 ticket with penalty and worthless driving school!
