Trading in two cars........can it be done? Should it be done?

Just wondering if anyone else has ever heard of anyone doing this with any rate of success. Say you take a car worth 15k and another worth 10k, will a dealership take both in if you're trying to buy a car say worth 25k to consolidate payments and insurance? Is this a good idea if the cars are hard to sell outright?

Yes, you can do it. Buddy of mine just traded in an old Altima and something else towards a new Maxima.

Yes, it can be done. Last year, my friend traded in his 02 Odyssey and 03 GX470 for an 05 LX470.

Yep, as long as it makes sense for the dealer, they will do it.

^ err...... as long as it makes sense for YOU first. Then dealer doesn't try to rape you then it's ok to do.

GF and I may be moving to Chicago, so I'm currently trying to arrange a trade for her car and my car for an 05' Range Rover since we'll only need one car there... Both dealers I've talked to were willing to do it.

almost any dealership would do that. they can send the cars to auction and make their money back. unless it's a damn saturn.
