Tracks in NYC Metro Area

Anyone know of a place around the metro area where you could do track events? Only looking for places that provide you the car. Do these exist?

Hoping i could find a track where you could take a porsche for a couple laps

im sure this is unrealistic and comes with high deposits. hell, ive seen jet ski rentals require upwards of $1,000 deposits.

^ you need to bring your own. What some of my friends do is they rent a Gallardo of Ferrari for a day, and drive the crap out of it. Of course, there is a risk. If you damage it, you've bought it.

Search for exotic rentals in NYC. You should get a nice compilation.

I cannot think of any facility that allows you to rent cars. The few that exist all allow you track time, but it's with your car...

How far are you willing to travel? A plane ticket to Phoenix is a lot cheaper than renting a Lambo in NYC.

^ I'm not sure if they even rent "stick" cars anymore... especially in metro areas. Even each companies "fun" cars are mainly auto...

^ No good. Have to either be a member of the track club or an auto club to get onto that track... and you have to have your own car. Can't rent one at the track to use...

I think Skip Barber has a school at Lime Rock. Skidpad school maybe they give you BMW's or mustangs and bring your own. Track school puts you on the track in open wheelers...Have a couple of friends that did the track school, they both loved it. One of the guys became a much better street driver, permanently.
