Don't Americans not get BBC? I've been watching Top Gear on there and assumed it was available stateside as well.
And yes Tiff is da man

I always wondered why one of the PBS stations never showed it. They broadcast Motorweek and also an occasional BBC show, why not Top Gear.

I haven't seen Fifth Gear on SPEED Channel for a while now. It went from a Monday night time slot to... 
And it's about BLOODY FUCKING TIME they brought us some Top Gear. I love that show. Jeremy Clarkson is hilarious. Tiff from Fifth Gear is easily the better driver, but I find Clarkson more amusing to watch.
And no, we don't get the BBC. Instead, we get BBC America (and only on cable/satellite) which runs only select BBC shows.
