Mine is a 2003. But from what I've read, the red line difference doesn't effect the car driven at full power. It is most noticable in city driving w/ the additional torque in the low end. Overall, I believe the 0-60 numbers, etc, etc are the same. Check out www.s2ki.com for more info.

Living at home, unless he moved out. Remember he took the road trip with his dad back to Washington from Pittsburgh.

I am 6'5" and I drive an s2k, I can't go for more than two hours at a time without having to get out and stretch, but its worth it

There is a ton of headroom in that car, its the legroom that owns me...

For being a tiny car it can fit a big driver, getting in and out though sucks, but so does the lowered cl for that matter so...

What else is under the hood??? Gotta be something if they dropped the $ on hard top and volks... icebox? exhaust?

why not? I have a full time job at an interactive ad agency. I live at home...minimal rent.

I bought it used so I didn't take the new car "hit". Plus I'm 25...why wouldn't I drive an S2k!!!

living with mom and dad = being able to have multiple cars (or one car that is well beyond your means)

thats how quite a few people on this board have what they have....you didnt know???

i believe 44lbs. I lifted it at the dealer yesterday. Took two people because it was akward, but it wasn't heavy.

Does the hardtop fit over the soft top - like do you just put the soft top down and put the hardtop on?

exactly. The hardtop is long enough that it covers the softtop portion. It tucks neatly in there out of site, which is cool.

Sweet. I've never seen inside of an S2K trunk - is there is seperate part for the soft top to go infront of the trunk space, or does it go into the trunk (that would suck having it there all the time).

it's a separate compartment. can't say there is that much trunk space...but enough for one golf bag. that's all i care about.
