TL-S

Finally got to ride in a TL-S today. A guy here at work just bought a silver one last week. It's a very nice car.

I noticed that not only are the mirrors smaller (as discussed here), but they have a blueish tint to them as well. Also, he said the moonroof rattles a bit, but he just turns up the stereo to compensate for it. I had to teach him about the SS mode, he was a little nervous about using it.

Moonroof rattles because its made in the good ol' US of A. You guys should return your cars (no 30 day US automotive workforce shit warranty?) and tell them you want new ones from Japan where they know how to REALLY make a car.

The side mirrors are now photochromic like the rearview in the CL-S, thus the blueish tint.

Can you turn on-off the tinting as you can for the rear view mirror ?

I got the next best thing to a car built in Germany, my mechanic is german. My father is a manager at a mold and die shop. He has been working with germans for 30 years. Hands down the most accurate and thourough workers when it comes to detail and follow through. No offense against other races just an observation. They say "A happy German is a working German".

It's probably automatic. In the day they have the tint, and at night they don't. I don't know for sure though.

Yes it does, probably cuz Acura lowered it somehow. You look at it in person and the wheel gap is not huge compared to the pics in the brochure.

The car is moving..so, it'll naturally lower itself a tad

Dude, I had a '97 C36 AMG, one of Germany's finest, that had it's front fog light wiring so f***ed up M-B had to fly a tech to Chicago from Germany to fix it when it was a month old. I have a TL-S and an MDX built in Ohio and Canada and neither has a single interior, exterior, or mechanical flaw. With mass produced cars it's really the luck of the draw not the country of origin. I have friends with the new 3's who are none too happy with the way their interiors and plastic trim are wearing.

Yes I agree, but next time you are at the dealer, take a look at the pics of the non-moving TL in the brochure and then have a look at the real thing, I'm sure you will notice something.
