All you pay is a the destination fee like any other car. In BMWs case its $795.

Same goes for any car made over seas thats a bound for the U.S. He meant "U.S made" as in its a U.S spec car.

...but did anyone else notice the 335i in Ocean's 13? It was kinda a "plug" for the car... but subtle. At the time of the filming of this movie, it had to had been waaaaaaaaay before the release of the car...

 

Im so drooling I love the new 335i coupes. Ok now I feel like a sellout to my TL but its a BMW and I can't help myself.

Actually, I only put 18 miles on the car, not because I wanted to, I was limited by weather. It was snowing and very cold (25 degrees), so I couldn't drive much around with the summer tires. I wanted to go to Fussen and go do a castle tour, but damn weather was against me. Car sets sail today and should be in NY on 12/10, hopefully customs and VPC don't take long and I'll have her before Christmas.

And also, I spent a week in Europe, went to Rome first, then Munich. So no I wasn't brown about it.

If Acura doesn't keep its act together by the time I'm ready for a new car (another year or two, depending on how impulsive I am), I'm almost certainly going to go for a 535i or 545i. I went to high school in Germany, so European Delivery makes sense to me, as I could drive cross-country to my old school.

 

I just put a deposit on some 19" wheels, the money pit begins!

Ship has started its way across the atlantic with my car. Right near the coast of France, on schedule to land at NY port on 12/10. The wait is KILLING me.

Just picked up the car from the dealer yesterday. OMG, I missed my car so much. I feel so relieved to have her back! The power and response of the car is absolutely orgasmic.

I configured my settings in idrive and my ipod touch comes in tomorrow (using flash drive for now). Got my snow tires put on just in time, tomorrow we have a lot of snow in Chicago, I'm ready to battle the streets. I'll post pics once I get her cleaned up and there's some daylight!
