TL,G35C or S2000?
#5
Depends on what the car is going to be for...for a pure sports car the S2000 (super tight handling, but unpractical), for a family car with luxury definitely the TL, but for all-around performance/luxury you have to go with the G35.
Personally, I would go with a G.

I'd like to "upgrade," but the S2000 doesn't get too many votes. Namely, it probably sucks in the snow. How am I supposed to get around in the winter?!
As much as I like my CLS, I sorta wish I had two more doors. Utility and convenience. Hindsight sucks, I suppose.
G35C? Sign me up. Looks great and goes like stink. Sure it has two doors, but come on!

I don't get the votes for the G35 over the TL. G35 seems way less refined, I've only driven the G35 coupes, both stick and auto.
Felt way overpriced for the amenities, quality, and features IMO.
Too small, cheap feel even, not that impressive for $30k+.
Not sure what you want, you mention the S200 but say your CL needs more doors? 04 TL for a sedan, CLS6 for a 2 door, or the G35 coupe if you think it's sexy. no automatics.

Back to a MT!
if you like your CL but want 4 doors and an Acura, the TL would be best cause its alot like a CL, nice and smooth good power and handling about as good as a FWD can get. The S2000 would be good if you didn't need any utility and wanted top top fun Other than the performace and the back end, the G is eh...

IF you want a Convertible with alot of noises on the freeway with no space whatsoever, only can carry 1 person. AND YOU HAVE another Car then S2000 it is....
IF you want 4 door, TAXI driver for all your friends, lots of cargo space, Quiet and smooth and you can almost fall in asleep when you are driving then TL it is.
IF you want something in between and want something to modify then G35C, which has more potiential for HP

Personally, TL-6MT.
Interior, which is where you spend your time, is light years ahead of the G35c. Comfort level, gadgets, etc, make that an easy choice for me. Sure, less power, not RWD, etc, for the car itself, but good god, are you more often just cruising along or pushing your car to the absolute limit? And MT instead of Auto because I don't trust Honda autos any more. Their manuals, I hear great things about, however.
Styling, I'd give it to the G35c if it were more exclusive. It just ain't, it sells too god damn well. Good for Infiniti, but not for the owners who wanna have an exotic looking car. Atleast around here in LA, I see tons.
I have fun fucking around in my car, but at the end of the day, I go with luxosport > sportluxo if the price is the same. But you're considering the S2K. I don't know how high practicality is on your priority list =)
Good luck with whatever you do.

Since you that they are 3 different types of cars, what type of car best fits your needs.
If you need a 4 door sedan, get the TL.
If you can live with a 2+2 coupe, get the G35c.
If you can live with a 2 seater, get the S2000 (I'd rather get a 350z, no 4bangers for me, I like low end torque).
If you have 6 kids, get a fooking minivan

Would this be an everyday car?
I'd go G, just because I've driven it in the snow and it's fine. The TL, while a nice car is boring to drive (flame suit on).
SK2 is tits, but I couldn't see that car out in the snow. And I need a trunk and a backseat.

I agree with scrib on this one....
Rwd > Fwd and the g looks 100000x better than the TL imo. S2000 is a toy and not a good choice for a daily driver. TL is and the only thing it has over the g is interior

If you don't need the space of the TL don't get it. Once you get older and have a family you will have no choice but to drive a sedan so you may as well enjoy your 2 door days while you can.
S2000 will handle the best but the G35c will be a better luxury cruiser. Both are amazing.

...maybe you should add the Toyota Sienna and Lexus RX330 to this mix as well. That way, you'll REALLY have a variety of choices. j/k
It's about the backseat needs:
TL, if backseat access/useage will be regular
G35C, if backseat access/useage will be fairly irregular
S2000, if just have no need of a backseat
$.02

My G35 is better built than my CL-S. I get more goodies too for the same cost. G35 Sedan is not small, its larger in some areas over the TL.
04 TL has A TON of problems already, I mean a TON. Headliner falling, is a major one.

G35 has more mods than the other 2 put together. Also, Infiniti reliability and service is absolutely great. Acura can be good/bad depending on dealer but most Honda dealers are crap (I hate dealing with them).
I'd pick the G35 coupe
