The TL was about to get A-spec suspension....

Instead I decided to put myself into another 5 years of debt! I signed on a '10 G37S sedan with premium and navi. Blue Slate with Graphite interior. Fantastic car. I qualified for 1.9% financing and made the deal happen.

I'll miss my TL, it was a superb vehicle. As much as I wanted to keep it forever and kept talking about it as if I would. I just had the itch for RWD. No more itch though, my girl put a stop to it all and made me budget the wedding expenses since we're 14 months away and counting. I guess I can justify the purchase in my mind easier by saying this car is actually $11 cheaper per month lol. Hopefully I keep this car and enjoy it for many many years to come.

Cell phone pics sorry. You all know what a G looks like

Nice ride! And $11 a month less expensive? How bad was your interest rate on the TL?

Thanks everyone. Yep another 59 payments *sigh*

5.49% it wasn't bad at all lol. It's a shame my CU (who financed the TL) couldn't touch Infiniti's rate. The best they could offer was 2.9% for 60 months..

Wait, something isn't making sense. You said that your credit union offered 2.9% for 60 months and the Inifiniti's rate was 5.49% and you went with them? Am I missing something here?

^^

The TL was financed at 5.49%. For the G35, he got 2.9% from his CU, but 1.9% from Infiniti.

Congrats on the sale

He qualified for 1.9 on the Infiniti, through Infiniti. He was at 5.49 for the Acura and his CU offered him 2.9 on the Infiniti.

Nice pickup..... Try to pay it down when you can (make extra payments). It'll make the payoff easier.

With the side-by-side of the TL and the G it is really clear to me that the latett TL was a bit of a disaster.

Six years on from the 3rd Gen TL's debut and it still looks great. I wouldn't call it timeless but they definitely did well with that design.

Nice color! I've driven the older version, the 2007-2008 style that isn't as nice inside and only has the 3.5-L, but it's a great driving car at a good price.

Nice pick up, what are your payments looking like? Also were you upside down on the loan for the TL?

Will always love the 3rd Gen TL lines. Not so much with the 4th Gen.

Congrats on the purchase. Nice color choice, too. And I know the itch for RWD. I have it too, although I swear I'm never getting rid of my Accord.

Todd, part of the reason I bought my Merc was for the RWD... but I kept the CL too!!!

LOL. It may be $11/mo cheaper, but you just assumed a 5 year car payment!

But, it was well spent... nice ride and good choice . Oh and good luck with the wife

nope they offered me decent numbers on my trade. $15.5k so I wasn't upside down. That went into the down payment for the G. Payments are under $600

better pics will be up when I get some time. Probably tint 35% on the side windows 20% on the back window like the TL.

Thanks everyone! I drove the car back from the dealer last night. Then to work today and that's all the fun I've been having with this car. Sucks..

I test drove a '10 TL SH-AWD 6MT w/HPT. Drove great like the last two 4Gs I've test driven, but I just can't get over the looks and size! My 3G was great, I was just growing tired of it. Ugh, my HondAcura fanboyism can't continue if that's what they are putting out. I still love my Fit though!

You're right. Consider this my last hurrah, before my freedom ends and I have to worry about car seats, baby wipes, what paint scheme to go with what, which appliances to buy, etc etc.
