I'm going to test drive this weekend MDX, and Highlander. My wife just wants to make sure since she will be the one driving it on the weekdays, to the kids appointments and to the park, stuff like that.
Also, test driving the Durango just for the hell of it.
can't wait to hear...you might get yourself in trouble.
I finally let my wife drive it this morning...she was trying to hide that she was a little excited.
BTW, nobody "needs" a SUV, much less with 3 rows with only two children. Oh yeah roominess is always a good pretext; the real thing that people want is styling.
But if you prefer it, I would get something more recent than a 4-5yo 25K$ MDX.
Don't underestimate the burden of getting constantly 18mpg when you are used to better. That's a good reason to avoid any mid-SUV.
Why not get a 2015 Honda CR-V . It can accommodate easily a family of 4 and a spectacular 28mpg EPA average.

I would recommend the bold until the RDX gets its overdue update. That car is dying for a new version.

Oh hey look...its Sainturd. The guy who doesn't have a clue. Coming in here to throw around his baseless "factual" opinions.

Why are you still here? Actually I DO need an SUV, with 2 recaros, a dog and other shit that I haul around. Why on earth would I want a Cr-V. If I wanted a 5 seater SUV it sure in the hell wouldn't be a Cr-V

Back to what I was saying before "it" came into my thread.
It's funny once you start considering cars, they start popping up around you. On my way to the bus stop this morning I saw 5 MDX's and 3 Durango's... The bus stop is only 2 miles from my house.

This is hilarious. We looked at the Highlander, Pilot, GC, and MDX a few weeks back for my wife. Since then all I keep hearing is "We should get the MDX because everytime I go out now all I see are Pilots, Highlanders, and GCs...there are tons of them around Atlanta!". She's forgetting the fact that when we lived in Chicago over the prior 3 years it felt like the MDX was the official sponsor of the North/Northwest Suburb Soccer Mom club. Couldn't drive 20 feet around Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, or Northbrook without seeing 5 of them.

Hello from Barrington, Lake Zurich, and Licolnshire... and this is so true.
My reply was perfectly reasonable and it is not my fault if this low IQ individual had just another girlie issy fit out of no where.
He would better pull his head out of his *ss more often so next time he will maybe see that white pick-up instead of having an insurance responsible record. Of course it won't happen.
Now for reasonable folks, what is the difference in interior volume between a CR-V and a porky Durango? CR-V=141 sq.ft vs Durango=151 sq.ft
A Durango may be a desirable toy, but spare the pretext and roominess BS.

Keep up the barely legible English replies. Between your ESL and your complete lack of intelligence you're coming off like a real genius right now.

Let me help you understand - Your opinion was not requested. You have a history of angering people on this board for no reason. If you had any common sense, whatsoever, you would figure that out and stop going into thread after thread only to give condescending and insulting opinions.

Except that in his limited brain function he realizes that...hence troll.
We have 2 kids and have a Suburban and still have to put a huge box on top when we go to Canada for the holidays. Reason being is we have 2 80+ pound Weimeraners that take up most of the cargo area.

Stupid unsolicited opinions are stupid.
Well having 2 80+ pound Weimeraners with kids IS stupid.
This has been going on for years. There's only one effective remedy - ban.
