I've driven the GTI as well, and it was a blast. But in terms of a compact daily driver that'll have a better chance at being problem-free down the road, I'd shy away.

New fit is pretty nice tricked out (navi, sound system) but the Rabbit is a sweet little hatch too.

Im not a huge fan of nissan interiors that far down the chain...

Keep the Civic as 67k is low mileage for an 8 year old Honda....and you know it'll probably go another 100k before it needs any major repairs.

get a Fit, and then one of those 18" add-on fake penises to make yourself feel better.

Why? My car has been relatively trouble free when the check engine light isn't on or the car doesn't scream "CHECK COOLANT"

I love the GTI, dealers are willing to take 3k off sticker and sell you a base 6 speed for 21,xxx. For that price which is a few grand over a hot selling Civic or Corolla you are getting a car worthy of Audi/BMW driving performance.

I've driven the car a few times and just lust for it daily.

But no money no talk for a trade or straight up purchase at this time.

Loseit is the worst skimmer/proof-reader, ever. I have no idea how he passed his med school.

Drove a Versa for about 10 days as a rental. After day 5 I didn't look forward to getting into the car at all...( Was driving a ton for work...)

1. Good gas mileage
2. Good point and squirt through traffic
3. CVt tranny was ok, but car was underpowered outside the city
4. Front seats made by the same people as the ones making my kids foam coach. they suck ass
5. Radio was brutal, although it it may have had a blown speaker( on a car with < 5K on it..whaaaa?)

When I first picked it up- I thought it would be neat to rip around in, then I couldn't wait to give it back..try the fit .. otherwise keep the Civic and put some $$$ into it..

^ You must have had the base model, the SL version with tech package is pretty sweet. Doesn't sound like you had the CVT model... I could be wrong....

rabbit ftw. 08 models get a 180hp engine and plenty of torque to make it a fun DD car. I was gonna get one but the prices in canada are too insane so I gave up.

Interesting, most of the reviews I've read have been positive on the fun factor of the FIT over its competition. But I haven't driven any of them...
