Thinking of trading in the TL for a...

FX35. I just like the car and I do want something bigger and plus, I get sick of cars really fast and i've had the TL for 2 years now. I was just wondering what opinions other car enthusiasts had about the ride, i would get it w/ touring and technology packages... is this worthwhile? i need persuaion/dissuasion

Definitely get the TECH package, without it the center dash will just have that big cheap ugly orange message screen.

well went to the infiniti dealer yesterday to check it out.... kinda disappointed at the size... pretty small for the rear seat passengers. looked it up and the fx only has .2 inches more leg room than my TL and a little more than in inch in shoulder space. i knew it wasn't a "real" suv but it was much smaller than i anticipated. for the price, might as well get the new M. anyhoot.... guess i need to find another car to want..

If he picks an S4 or G35 over an E55, i'll be pissed

That is a strange range of classes. I'd remove the G35 and stick in the M45. Now that would be a comparison

well it all depends on price range and what he wants in it. he is thinking about the G35 then he saw a new S4 and now he wants to check one out, since on the highway he always sees this S4 that blows by him and he can't keep up and he also likes the new style. now the E55 that may be a long shot but never the less we will still go look at it. but here's the catch he needs something with navi in it which he has in his TL already and he really doesn't want to downgrade. plus we live up in the north so he wants something with all wheel drive so he can drive that in the winter because of the snow and save on fuel instead of taking his truck which doesn't have navi.

edit: i forgot to add that we will probably go look at the lexus GS430 in the all wheel drive also. saturday is going to be so fun.

E55s a RWD car with a shit load of torque, I don't think it'll meet his winter driveability requirement. But damn it's a sexy ass car =D

I love the FX45/35... What I don't love is the gas price in Canada... I tried a FX45... The car drives great, is fast, brakes are amazing, great growl... The only down side is the interior which I didn't like and the Gas consumption...

Oh and one more thing, the blind spot behind is worse than in an NSX...

One more thing, if you like to change cars often, the Infinity may not keep it's value as much as a TL which means you'll probably be less tempted in selling it in 2 years...

The GS430 isn't available in all-wheel drive. It's only available on the GS300.
