Won't help-- I've been blowing through money for at least 15 years past my wedding.

And just a couple months ago you were complaining about student loans

Can you get a 09 V for anywhere near $28K?

Have you priced maintenance for the E55? There is a reason those cars suddenly become very affordable after 4 years or 50K miles...

And a few months ago my practice had not taken off after marketing started....amazing what quadrupling your income can do for lifestyle.

And while I am a bit worried about parts, I do all my own clicky-turny-thingy turning, so I'm not worried about any labor costs......

This is a tough call. If the 09 CTS-V is the 556 HP monster and the price is close, then the CTS-V.

But if the difference is $20K, take the AMG and live the high life for a while. The depreciation won't be that bad from $28K. Even if you keep it 3 years, it's still an AMG and will have good resale / trade value.

If you can get the E55 for $28k and the maintenance has been taken care of, then go for it.

As much as I love the CTS-V, I wouldn't choose it in this case.

The 55 and the 63 have almost identical performance - why would I spend another 20K on the 63?
