More tq and hp: yes

But I thought the S4 was one of the most overrated cars I have ever driven. I am in no way saying its not a nice car, because it is. But having driven one right after the M3 it felt boring and more like a grocery getter.

S4 is significantly slower than the M3. Plus it's a lot heavier.
I'd go with the E46 M3. Why wait for the new bangleized one...

i think an S4 would be a much better daily driver then an M3 up her in the northeast. if your not in a rush i would definately wait for the RS4! i didn't even know that car was going to be offered in the states.

If a 0-to-60 comparison of 5.0 (6-speed S4) to 4.8 (M3 coupe) is significantly slower, then so be it. The M3 is certainly more agile than the S4 (the S4 weighs 4000 pounds) but you're making like you're comparing the TL and M3. The S4 is still a great car, and I'll probably be stepping into one in about a year.

And for the record, I do like the new Audi grille. There was an A6 in my side mirror today while I was driving on the parkway and it looked really aggressive coming up on my left. I've seen far uglier front designs.

I'd go with the C55 AMG out of all the cars you picked. You don't see too many of them, and unless you were really pleased with the M3 you have now, why get essentially the same car?

Because a 99 was the E36 body style. The E46 M3s didn't come out until 2001 and there is a HUGE difference between the two.

Yeah, it LOOKS good, but I did a comparison, equally equipped, the M45 had a better engine and interior room for 20k less. It was rediculous.

My Accord is the official NYC car\Nova Winter car. The M3 is my Summer Nova car. So if I purchase a car, its to replace the M as the summer car.

I agree that these car are more fun, but I need something that will transport 4 passengers if I have to. Of course I could always borrow one of my parent's cars, but I dont like doing that.

True, in both looks and performance. Im still loyal to the M3, but overall I think the Benz has more features.

I take that back...I checked KBB earlier and they said it should be sold for $21k...I just went to autotrader and people are selling them for $35,000 with 22,000 miles. So my new price is $31,000.
