Thinking about getting a TSX

Okay... if I trade in my '02 CL-S with 47,700 miles. I would probably get $16-$17k for it. Right?? I still owe like $20,500 on it though. I could get a TSX 6spd w/Navi for like $28k. Do you all think its worth it. I just love the TSX in Carbon Gray w/body kit, silver star rims.

You're upsidedown on your current loan. I wouldn't even cosinder selling a car that I'm upsidedown on... You get into an even deeper hole...

yea you would have to cover the remaining 3k plus whatever you want to put down on the TSX.

My standing on negative equity is to put down at least what that # is on the new loan (don't finance negative equity). If he trades the car in he'll also get tax savings.

$3k negative really isn't that terrible.

I could afford to take a $3k hit. I bet I could get a better deal if I waited till the spring too. Maybe get them down in the $26k range.

Anything is slow compared to your monster allmotor. I would be getting the 6 speed if I got one. Maybe a lil quicker. The mods are cheaper too than for the CL-S.

A 6 speed CL-S or even a new Accord EX - V6 would be a better choice.

I'd wait a bit until they're ready to flex on the price of the TSX and maybe your losses won't be so bad.
