shit, i could compare a ford crown vic with a 7 series saying that there is more interior space. tis true, but they compared it to a BMW cuz it has a reputable name for expensive cars

But it's no secret. I posted months ago about working for Hyundai and test driving the Genesis prototype in Korea.

Before everybody jumps on the bandwagon and claims I'm biased... I've been giving credit to Hyundai since years ago, back when I was in college and when I didn't imagine in my wildest dreams that I would end up in Alabama working here. And my perspective on that is well documented on this forum over the years.
This is old news... Doesn't anyone go into the Automotive News forum here ??

RWD and a 375hp V8 for 30 something thousand sounds pretty good to me...

I'm trying to get my hands on a pre-production Genesis Coupe (not the orange concept) before it actually hits the U.S. market. It won't happen next week, but hopefully sometime in the near future. I'll be updating the thread with my impressions, just as I did with the sedan.

OH Boy! Hyundai employee discount. He still won't buy one with his own money.
Well, I could care less if the Genesis does take styling cues from other high-end manufacturers. Who cares?
As long as the end product appeals to my sensories, which the Genesis does, then I'm definitely going to make my way to a dealer when we're buying later this year.
I think some people are just so hung up on branding...
I want my dollar to go as far as possible and I want the vehicle to appeal to me.

reminds me of when the IS250/350 first came out, and there was a thread in one of the IS forums about the IS being way > than the TSX. and a lot of acura owners were calling them snobs and brand-whores.

Plus, how long has he been working at Hyundai?
My thoughts are, based on his responses, that he'll closely look at the new generation Hyundais before purchasing his next car.
I'm able to get GM discount pricing but nothing in their product line has appealed to me for years (minus the Acadia) - so am I a moron for not buying a GM?

Didn't he say he's HAPPY with his current TL?

Infiniti put some unique thought into the Q45 and it didn't do nearly as well as the LS400 ... Frankly, I don't think Americans LIKE different (as a whole).

Not sure what this has to do with anything we're talking about.

i really get the feeling that you are trying to say "im big, you're little. I'm smart, you're dumb"

You're the only person in this thread who feels as if Pure Adrenaline has a freaking hard-on for Hyundai and is "gloating" (you still don't know what that means) about their product.
I would bet more than 99% of the people reading this thread feel as if Pure Adrenaline's posts are informative, intelligent and do not indicate he is trying to push Hyundai towards anyone.
You, on the other hand, thinks he should go buy immediately or he can't say anything positive about the brand.

Save this thread on your computer and revisit when you're 25. You will feel differently, having gained more life experience about cars in that time.
Despite the fact that I already stated my next car will most likely be the Genesis Coupe??
Why not most definitely? You work for the fucking company for god sakes...What does this tell us about the cars they make??
I believe he's referring to your analogy earlier... which everybody said made no sense.
eh, c'mon guys. i know teenagers and college students that have had more life experiences than me. so let's not be quick to judge someone's intelligence after a few posts.
we may not agree with him, but what do you expect from an internet car forum?

c'mon man. just because he works for hyundai and he likes the car...does that make him obligated to buy the car?
like he said earlier. there could be a number of reasons why he may not end up buying the genesis coupe, and those reasons may have nothing to do with the quality of the car itself.

I don't have to prove shit. I love my Acura and I love my job. The two don't necessarily have to coexist. I sure hope you don't work at a pig manure processing plant, because I would be telling you to go eat shit and die already. Because I'm just about done with you. Bye.
