Test drove a Grand Prix GTP Comp G
I was bored the other day and I have also been thinking about getting a second vehicle so I went to a local Pontiac Dealership. I picked me out a fully loaded Comp G and took that baby for a test drive. I was pleasantly suprised. The car was quick, the Monsoon stereo sounded good, and the build quality seemed very good.
The paddle shifting is fairly quick and the car does a good job of sticking to the ground. The brakes felt great. The leather seats were adequate and of course heated for those cold mornings.
The information provided by the computer was my favorite gadget. It tells you everything from boost level to oil temperature. Also, the Heads-Up-Display was definitely cool. It tells you your speed, heading, and temperature all in a digital readout.
The two things that I wish it had are HID's and Navi.
Anyways, I think I can get a fully loaded Comp G with 0% financing for about 24K... Very tempting.
Has anyone else taken one for a spin? What were your impressions?

Ugh.
