Well, since you are at Gonzaba, just pick up the Lotus Elise!!! You can always add in the navi, and that car is a blast to drive!!!!

I was in the same "dilemma" 6 months ago and bought the C32. Out of those 3 choices, I'd go with the C.

I do disagree with a couple comments on getting an S class. To get an S class under 45,000 it would have to be at least 3-4 years old and a boatload of miles and be out of warranty. Plus most older ones didnt have the sport package and look like shit without the rims and body kit. I dont know about Texas but there are too many S430's and S500's on the road in Orlando and Atlanta.

I'd go with the C because the warranty issues and being an AMG, much like M's, arent very common.

Good luck with your decision and if you buy the C32, you wont stop smiling.

I just drove an S-type 3.0.........I didn't like it at all. It was too cramped for me, but then again I'm a big guy. Definetly the big body Benz for me. The C class, while it looks good, is still the cheap Benz. You see them everywhere.

I'd get a C55 though

Go with the C32. Yeah, the Z is much more your "age", however I think that the C32 is such a bad ass sleeper car and it's still something that I could see a 19yr old driving. Dunno why, but that's how I see it.

The Z is nice, but you see them everywhere. When was the last time you saw a C32?

<----- One word, AMG.

I have an 02 C32 & I love it. I was also considering a few similar cars before I bought the C32. I had originally wanted a coupe (350Z, G35, M3, S2000, etc.). But like you, I had an opportunity to buy the C32 at a great price. Once I drove it, that was it. Awesome power. Out of all the cars I drove, the C32 had the better balance of comfort & handling. I needed some comfort b/c the roads in NYC suck. Remember, the trunk & rear seats occasionally come in handy.
Whatever you purchase, good luck with it. Just my $.02, but I suggest you really think about your financial decision to take a loan of $35k for a car.

Visit www.mbworld.org for some more info.

<------ im a little biased

It depends what you are looking for. For a drivers car, go with the 6MT 350Z and you can make it real fast with TT etc. If you like an automatic, get the AMG and there are mods for it if 349hp is not enough. hee hee

There's a 02 C32 silver fully loaded 95k miles being sold in jersey for possibly <$25k.

benz.

I hate the interior of that year S-type. If its a newer S-type then i say go for that. But cant beat the power of the C32. Change the pulley and youa re set.

I love it! I like the size as it can seat enough if I have passengers and not too large when Im driving by myself half the time. Im definitely planning to keep this car for a the long run, it's just a blast to drive.

No prob. The mbworld boards have lots of info. You can also try www.mbklasse.com & www.benzworld.org. The mbworld board seems to be better & more informative. Almost like here. Sounds cool that you won't have any other bills than a car note.
Hope your health probs get better.

I dunno if you want to disclose this or not, but how are you getting approved for 35k at 19. Getting a car like this while in college just is normal. But props to you if you can pull it off, thats awesome.

Seems everyone loves the C32.

My bro has one ... gonna sell it before his warranty runs out. Why? As much of a beast of an engine it is, it's got problems. If there's a problem, it's gonna be EXPENSIVE. He can afford the car, he just doesn't want the hassle. In fact, I don't know if he's gonna buy another German car again.

Don't get me wrong -- he loves his car but he's not wanting to have to deal with trips to the dealership again. (Problem list: ABS sensor, numerous "return to workshop" warnings, sway bar improperly torqued, key fob didn't work, etc)

The car is German engineered but guess some quality control issues still need to be addressed.

Hey -- you got the cash ... spend it wisely but more importantly -- enjoy it!

PS If you're gonna get the Benz ... check out c32life.com -- they helped my bro decide on buying it in the first place!

i sit in front of a computer all night until somethings broken then i fix it...

information systems for a small hospital(so they pay better with less employees)

plus they pay for my school...so no money gone there...then..if or when i apply for med school...they will cover 75% of that also

so basically..this car will stay with me for a few years..thats why i wanna get one i know ill wanna keep..and not wanna trade in a few years to get the other one

what ever you do dont buy a jag. i did work at a jag dealer 4 days a week most weeks and every service writer knows all of there customers on a first name basis. they have so many problems with the cars there always in the shop. but i think the trany feels like shit it just clunks into gear. i drove and 03 s type and the tranny was already gone!!!!! it wouldnt go in reverse!!!!!!! stay away from jag!!!! go with the benz or the z!!!! i would go with the z becuase if any things breaks after the warrenty is up u can bet that the 350 will be cheaper to fix
