As you guys might already have known about the recently unveiled Tesla Cybertruck. I would like to know what you guys think about it.
I assume most of you think that is an Ugly duckling. What else.. Is that the turning point for downfall of Tesla, or just another odd looking EV mashup, or sheer genius / innovation on Tesla's part. Agree that this is a prototype only, but given Tesla's history, the final production car will look exactly the same with some additional features to ensure compliance with regulations.
Would you buy this, or not.... and why?
I think it's great.
I don't often think of things that don't have a ladder frame chassis and a solid axle as a truck though. Maybe this will change my idea of that, but at the moment I think of it in the same way I think of a ridgeline.
Speaking of the ridgeline honda has been tryhing to cut out their own little corner of the truck market. People who are going to buy a toyota are going to buy a toyota, people who are going to buy a ford are going to buy a ford. So they made this neat car/truck thing to try to appeal to the people who dont want or need that other stuff. I think tesla is trying to do the same thing, but they also feel the need to make it feel like a battlestar galactica 1978 prop.
