Taking the Plunge...
I got off work a little early today and went to the Hyundai dealer to pick up a new license plate screw bracket for the tailgate on my Santa Fe. The original had popped out due to stress and would not stay in.
$1.15 later I emerged victorious and hope that my plate screw bracket will stay on the car now. While I waited for two friends to call me back so we could do dinner, I called a local window tinting shop just for shits and giggles to get a quote to tint my front windows on the Santa Fe.
She said it is normally $90 but it's currently on sale for $80. When I told her that I would need to review my financial situation before making an appointment, she dropped the price to $70 if I did it tomorrow (now today). I just couldn't pass that up. I'll be a bit tight until the end of the week but no big deal. I'm getting the front windows tinted to match the rears (factory tint in back is 23%) as closely as possible even though Oregon limits front window tint to 35%, I honestly don't care. I'm going for the closest to match simply because mismatched tint looks awful IMO.
I usually don't do things on a whim like this but I'm stoked about getting it done finally.

If your going to do anything else to your TSX you owe it to yourself to do a larger rear sway bar, it was the single best mod I made on my TSX when I owned one. The CAI and header combo was nice and not only offered better fuel economy, but a noticeable increase in power.

I'm looking to get a Progress RSB, Tein's, and reflash my ECU. Then I'll be good.
Maybe some wheels later on too.
I thought it was a "I was at the dealer for a $1.15 screw, then I saw a Genesis on the showroom floor" type thread. Oh well. If you live in a sunny place, you need the tint. Enjoy.
I wish I could afford the V8 Genesis. They have one with the technology package although it's not black.
As opposed to this thread...epic fail on my behalf.
I'm sorry, I shouldn't post tired.
