I hear a slight difference. Sounds good either way, though.
And I know all about the re-adjusting and re-aligning of exhaust parts . I messed with my exhaust six times to get it where it is, and I still need to do it one more time since it rubs on the cross member when going over large bumps. Considering how infrequently that occurs, I decided to wait until it was warm to deal with it.

I hear a slight difference, but it's probably more noticeable in person & driving.
Same thing happened when I installed the Y-Pipe on my SE-R, made the exhaust slightly more aggressive with a few ponies on a butt-dyno - was worth it in my eyes.
Car is looking good as always good sir!

If you keep messing with the exhaust sooner or later you'll have to start dealing with drone inside the cabin and all that BS.

Thank you sir! I was cruising through Hendersonville yesterday. Kept an eye out for your FX but didn't see ya. It was a perfect day for a drive up to Gallatin.

Thanks man! It wasn't as bad as I was expecting having to tape the black graphics off with blue tape. Only added a few extra minutes to the job but well worth it keeping the wax off them.

So I've been thinking hard about getting a new hood. What do you guys think about this one? I think I'd probably end up painting the mesh insert black.

That's another option. The Trufiber fiberglass version is around $650 shipped. Add in painting labor/prep and it'll end up being as much as the carbon fiber one, but it would appear more OEM. Hmmmmmm.

Trucarbon has my dream hood (the challenger cuda hood) but I don't think they make it...or they bought the company that did...its also a few hundred more than it used to be.

I'd paint match it for sure but it looks good. I prefer this Viper style hood more. Not sure if they make it for your body style though.

Yep but as I'm sure you're aware from reading about them it's not a perfect fit. You have to trim away some of the rubber and for extra security I used some 3M foam tape in between the pad and pedal to keep it in place.

Looks good! Any chance they have a dead pedal cover?

My buddy just got a trufiber hood for his 08 road and track Charger. He got the one that looks like the OEM SRT hood. We got some hail one night that caused some damage to his hood and he replaced it with the trufiber. Looks just like the OEM one and it is functional. It might take a bit to get used to the hood while driving, it sticks up quite a bit.

I just cringe thinking about how much water would go through those openings though. Definitely a sick show hood but not so much for a daily driver.

Here's the one listed on CL. Very, very tempting.

Yeah absolutely man, that'd be cool. Once it starts getting nicer we'll have to do that. I've found some pretty cool winding roads here in Goodsville.

Went to Beech Bend Dragway in Bowling Green, KY on Saturday. It was my first run down the 1/4 mile track with the Charger. I had three runs, the last being my best overall at a 13.912 @ 103.02mph. Compared to my 1/8 mile runs at our local track my 60ft times were about .1 to .2 slower so I know I wasn't launching the best so there's room for improvement. The altitude density worked out to be 1999ft. I was super happy with a 13 second run since my best run ever in any of my past cars was a 15.001 @ 99mph. Breaking into the 13s was a big relief I made a wise car choice this time lol.

How much power have you gained from your bolt-ons & tune?
103mph is a strong trap speed, nice run .

Thanks Tyler. I never dyno'd the car before or after the mods, so it's hard to say. I'd imagine with everything maybe 30hp to the flywheel or so, but that's just a guess. I'd love to get it on the dyno at some point but I'll probably wait until I put headers on it and have a custom tune done with the dyno runs.
