Well it is a Toyota... most reliable cars on the road.

But if it is a project car I'd rebuild the motor anyways. You can't beat that package though for a project car. Small, still looks great today, mid engine, RWD, turbo, etc.

BMW E30 325is

Awsome project cars. You can turn one into an awsome track car for a few grand plus an initail investment of 3-4k for the car. They're very reliable as well. My dads 1987 325 has 167k miles and runs like a champ. With just a new suspension and some slighlty stickier tires, the thing will grab hold of the road and not let go. Plus they are easy to work on.

Get what you like?!?!?

this is your project right?!?!?!

If you don't have something you lust after already, you have no need for this thread. Or the idea of a project car.

What are you looking for out of your project car?

I suggested the MR2 because it could easily be built for drag racing, Auto-X, drifting, show car, etc.

What are you trying to get out of it?

How about a 240SX, or an old RX7. Then there is always a classic Mustang.
