Suggestion for blind spot mirror..
I could have sworn I posted this 15 mins ago but cannot find it. Damn, it is scarey when that happens.
Anyway. I want to put a nice blind spot mirror and before I buy one of those cheap stick ons, I thought I would throw it out to you guys..
thanks

You do not need a blind spot mirror if you adjust your sideview mirrors properly. In fact, the distortion that they cause is probably more a problem than anything else. Next time you are in your car, do the following:
Sitting in the driver's seat, lean your head against the driver's side window. Adjust the driver's side mirror out (left) until you can no longer see the side of the car. Don't go to far, just far enough to go beyond the side of the car.
Again sitting in the driver's seat, try and move your head so that it is directly over the center console, looking out the windshield equidistant from either A pillar. Then adjust the passenger's side mirror as far out (right) as possible until you can no longer see the side of the car.
Take the car for a spin on the interstate, and you'll quickly forget you ever wanted a blind spot mirror.

Eggplant...you're a bike rider...never trust your mirrors!!! You know better than that.
Check your blindspot in addition to your side mirrors. No need for convex mirrors.

actually, I find doing a head check when driving dangerous. I have been in cars where the person does a 90 degree head turn. The time your eyes are not watching ahead of you is dangerous if traffic slows in front.
With riding, it's different...
