suggest on purchasing used BMW
Hi all, I konw this is not the bmw forum, but since I am a CL owner, I thought maybe any one of you who have or had a bmw would be able to judge and comment more in my preferances.
I am looking out for my gf to buy a 95-97 BMW, 325, or 328. Today I test drove this 95 328i with about 56000 Kms asking about 18000 USD, ... The engine was not very quite, I thought it was normal. What doyou all think ? WHat should I be looking out for buying these used bmws.

Go to www.bimmer.org they should have all the info you seek. The model your looking at is the (E36). You can either search archives or just ask what to look out for. I know front end components (ball joints etc.) go out around 65-70,000 miles.
