Subaru WRX, what do you think?
I just got back from a business trip to Switzerland and I got to ride in a guys WRC. He had sweet Recaro seats that gripped the body great and that car had some kick! What do you all think of it?
I'm thinking it would be nice for the future when my CL is too old.
Does the US version (WRX) have the same power as the euro spec? Does it have those great seats? Peace.

i've heard recent scoobys, from the impreza to the wrx, have had problems w/ the O2 sensor. might wanna check into that if ur thinking about buying. hopefully they addressed the issue. it's a great bang for the buck at about 25K. little to no luxury, but w/ a good stick driver it'll kick the ass of many cars in a straight and in twsities, including the cl-s...

It looks a little small but the back seat has more room than the CL. If I were going to buy one it would be the wagon. The sedan looks funky but you have to love awd and the possibilities of the turbo.
moving to car talk.

I rode down to San Antonio with a friend who owns a WRX sedan. I love the way it handles, and its pretty damn fast. I wouldn't mind picking up the Wagon.

They're OK...but why are they are all 4 doors..what's up with that? They're too small for 4 doors. I used to have an '85 Brat that I LOVED and I think Subarus are solid cars, I just hate 4 doors.

I agree with Zapata, its good as a second car, not a replacement for the CLS. While its much quiker and peppier than the CLS, the Acura is so much more refined, and civilized. I test drove the WRX wagon, it hauls azz, but s4 is a much better choice, though pricier.

I was a couple of days away from buying one. Untill I drove a CL-S... It was a real fun car to drive, but it is a completely different experience than an Acura. It is more like a Civic all pumped up on steroids.
