A salesman apparently stole the car when it was new, locked it up in storage, paid about $17k for the storage facility over the years, told the owners he no longer needed the storage, so they opened it up and found the lost 300ZX. Statute of Limitations is up, so he's not going to have any charges pressed against him... but at the same time, he spent $17k to store a car he never got to drive.
Unfortunately, NA auto. Probably so that they wouldn't spend the time hunting him down (the people in power would spend more time pursuing the more valuable model), but it'd have been much cooler if it were a loaded TT.

that car (along with other early 90's Nissans) had one of the best stock stereos ever (the Bose premium). sounded so clean, and you can turn it up and it wouldn't get distorted and/or lose bass (as it does in most new cars).
wow someone could easily get that car and do a tranny swap... but i dunno how the engine will run after sitting that long and with none of the fluids moving in it... that can't be good either...

answer this
Would YOU want to buy a NA 300Z w/ no options, cloth interior, etc?
I sure wouldn't
my bro bought one back in 94. 1990, 2+2 auto. (now parked in our old house dirt mold, flats, u name it) Back in the day it didn't matter. If u owned a Z u were the shit. all u needed were 3 piece's BBS and tint. They were the G35's of today.
