Bad pictures (I'll get better ones later), but I knew you'd like to see the latest Carbon Fiber added. The Carbon Fiber steering wheel bezel.

Here is what was in the box....it's the back piece of the trunk/hatch area. More Carbon Fiber to come too. See that piece in the upper right hand corner of the photo? That is plastic over the wheel well. Those are also being made now and should arrive in a month or so. If you can't see the picture, double click on the box with the question mark in it.

Are these panels truely replacement panels or just wrapped factory panels? Basically are you actually getting any wait savings for them?

No, not at all. Even if it was actual dry carbon panels, you're comparing them to plastic pieces... the weight savings, if any, has to be in the grams. And if they're just wrapped oem panels, they'll obviously weigh a bit more.
This is more for looks, and let's be honest- CF has a very sporty look to it that any car enthusiast will appreciate.
If metal panels were being replaced, then I can see a more noticeable weight savings. But plastic vs CF... probably not much, if any.

Some of the parts are pure Carbon Fiber. Others are overlays. In talking to a GM/Chevy rep at the NCM Birthday Bash, he revealed to me that GM also overlays Carbon Fiber.

Thought those were inside door panels at first glance.

Though I'm disappointed to see there hasn't been a set of CF wheels from the GT350R fitted on to the Vette yet...

Thanks TB-that's what I was going for!
Jeremy, I must admit-I always look for new Carbon Fiber pieces....
Yea, you have to look closely. I already have Carbon Fiber on the door panels. So these are the side panels of the hatch area.
LOL.....there are Vendors who make them, but they're VERY expensive. Besides, I still love my aftermarket wheels!
Thanks brother! Ironically, as many shows as I take this Corvette to, in the 4-1/2 years that I've owned it, it's only won one trophy at any show......
So these two pieces will compliment this piece that's already in the hatch/trunk area.....

They are done....installed!
Guys,
Tonight I installed these trunk/hatch Carbon Fiber side pieces! Installed myself and only took about 30 minutes total. There is no good way to photograph the entire hatch, so I hope you can enjoy these multiple pictures. These 2 side pieces now go with and match the center rear piece I received a few weeks back. The trunk/hatch is now done!

You seem to be doing just this fine picking up all these carbon pieces on your own.
Got a link to the seats? Would love to see what they look like.
