Came across this on the way home from work tonight. Same spot as the GT-R and 370Z I spotted before release. Michigan manufacturer plate as usual. Some day I'll follow them to their super secret bat cave. Unfortunately I didn't have my Canon digital on me this time, so I had to use my crappy cell phone, but it is what it is.

The Cube is really rounded (all corners, that is), and you may not see it, but the hinges are under a bulge in the sheetmetal (rear door). Car and driver reviewed one not too long ago.

They are utilitarian, good on gas, and, well... A cube.

Nissan's testing facility is somewhere in Maricopa right?

 

I don't know where it is but I'm sure it's somewhere deep in the desert. I'm suspecting they have some kind of facility in the Tempe area as well since I've seen all three prototypes (GT-R, 370Z & Cube) at this same exact intersection. This particular intersection is Price Rd and 8th St/Rio Salado off the Loop 101. Every time I see one at this light they continue straight on Price Rd toward Tempe. I also saw one of the GT-Rs parked at the Cracker Barrel in Riverview Plaza and I saw one of the 370Zs driving by on Country Club Rd in Mesa.
