Spunout at 120mph!!!!!!!!!

Ok guys, as usual i was racing a 350z, we were playing around up crenshaw, and i was ahead of him, so he was getting pissed. Next he hit up this straight away on crest road, which pretty straight except for a few turns. Anyways the dude punches it and so do I, i was behind him by a 2 carlengths at a hundred and he let of and i kept going till a hundred and twenty and a slight turn came, my car started sliding a little, I usually control it quickly and bam out of nowhere my car just drifts at a 120 and i try to countersteer, but it doesnt work im sliding at a 100+ towards a crub and a pole, and i spin the car towards teh crub and it does a full 180 away from the curb, and we keep sliding around until we come to a smoking stop. I took a quick breath and pulled over to the side. The 350z stopped asking me if i was alright. I was speechless. There was smoke everywhere and my freind next to me was yelling from excitement. But I was like shutup man, We almost died. I couldnt sleep this whole weeked on my trip to San Jose. The fact that I didnt die is hainting me, and i think the only thing that saved me was god. 120 mph on a two lane road and not hitting anything while spinning out is a miracle. I had to tell you all guys this.

BTW the reason I lost control, My tread sucks, front air pressure was low, and most important of all i was going to fast and I'm dumbass. I learned my lesson the hard way, but i look at as a sign to slow down my racer lifestyle.

Seriously though I hope you learn from this. Don't blame it on the tires either...It could happen with new tires. It took a very serious accident for me to learn but I finally did. Glad your o.k. and didn't hit anyone.

^ thanks man, yea I'm just joking bout the tires. At those speeds ona turn anything can go wrong. The slightest bump, water patch, can lead to death.

dude, ive lost it with the GS, and its hard to control with RWD. When you are going fast, always consider other people making mistakes as well, not just you. I have realized that i am a good driver after all my experience (despite my age), yet the times i am about to get into an accident, it is the cause of other drivers making little mistakes.
in your case, you are probably experiencing what i experienced when i was 17/18. but you will learn from this.
in the future, just be very careful and conscious when you are driving hard. FINALLY, always know the road and TURNS and what speed you can make the turn 100%, regardless of the angle you turn in. Knowing the turns and roads has kept me away from accidents. I hope you benefit and LEARN from this experience as i did. Take it easy in the future!

Crazy isn't that off in his post. This kid has stated that he "has mastered front wheel drive", not to mention the counless "I'm gonna buy a 1995 M3" threads. The last year they didn't have traction control, which doesn't even seem to help him in his FWD car.

i dont know too much about the 'mastering FWD' or 'M3' threads, but we all have done dumb shit before, and its no need to belittle someone about it. i'm sure he's learned his mistake, and moved on.

^ i never use tractio control dude. Anyways they're are other factors in this situation. At those speeds it is honestly at gods will. First of all you guys never been on that road, nor been in my car. I know its stupid of me to say these heroic remarks as if I'm tiff needel or Mario Andretti, but I honestly like to see you dudes at 120+ mph take that drift like a pro. You gotta be lucky and very skilled. Which I am not

Werd to that man. I have learned at those speeds anything goes no matter how comfortable you are behind the wheel and what car you drive. Anything can fuck up, Ive just been pushing my luck since i got my liscense. And looks like my last drop of luck is out.

I wouldn't be driving 120 mph on a 2 lane PUBLIC road with my skills. I know my limits and I also take it to the track or for the twisties, the autocross.

Also crazysellout and sarlacc stop bringing up the I masterd FWD drive shit, i was basically implying i know how to control FWD pretty well. It was just exaggeration. Unless you've been racing on the track for years, you aint mastered shit.

I really do love the "say it to my face" attitude from guys who like on the other side of the country

And yes i have done stupid shit when i was young, but I dont go out looking for it. "Ok guys, as usual i was racing a 350z" Yea now thats real mature. If he can learn from all this then good for him. Sucks that he has to almost kill himself to learn that racing and going 120mph is dumb. He cant talk all the shit to me he wants, everything i have said were facts.

drifting does not exist in a FWD vehicle.....if you think youre "Drifting" in a FWD car, you are simply in an out of control situation and get lucky, physics simply does not alow a FWD car to drift in the true sense of the term. Drifting is reserved for RWD. people who talk about drifting in FWD cars sounds like stupid rice boys who dont know what they are talking about.

stunts like this are why people die. get a fucking clue.

you almost died because of your own immaturity and utter stupidity....your lack of respect for your own life, your passangers life, and the lives of every driver on the road are sickening. you can say you have respect but pulling shit like this (which you obviously do on a regular basis) proves that you have no respect for anyone, including your own life.

jimcol711, usually i would never go fast with a passenger. I have never hit over a hundred with a passenger in my car. I would feel guilty if i killed somone. Also I never race when there is traffic. That is insane. The chance of hitting somebody and killing them and myself is high. Lastly after this experience i respect my own life, only thinking about how much more there is left in my short lived life then dying going a 120mph. I'm not saying im never gonna race again. But i will stay away from going bogus speeds and performing stupid stunts. I would also hate to see my little brother, not having me(his role model, hero, almost like is dad), and how my parents would feel if i were to die. I am not selfish anf wreckless, I am a very caring and respectful person, but i have a speeding problem, and trust me I am working on it.
