Spent 1k for maintance

Timing Belt, Water Pump, Transmission Fluid, oil change, 4 new tires, and machined the rotors

grand total $990!!

I wouldn't have done it if I didn't need this car to last forever!

Is that a decent price?

sounds decent. i guess it depends on the new tires. the tires alone can cost at least 40% of your total.

what tires did you get and at what size?

wow, pretty sad, i'm not even sure what tires I got. I know they are Bridgestone,
Potenza something
I traded my CL-s in a while back and got an Accord so I only have 16's.
After work if I remember I'll check my tires out, I went with my father and he told me to get the same ones he has. To bad he wasn't paying!

Scrib, I need this car to last for a long time with all the other stuff going on in my life (wedding, buying first home,........)

Bottom line I don't need a car payment, hopefully I'll have my whole life to earn money and hopefully buy a new car

Wtf do you drive? It would cost me $149 just for an oil change if I let the dealership do it. Just good tires would be right up there what you paid for everything.

congratulations and good luck!!

we closed on our house 2 days before the wedding day. we ended up moving our stuff into storage and concentrated on the wedding first. we figured that the house will be there after we got back from our hoenymoon. would not even wish that amount of stress on my worst enemy.

Those are some fairly cheap tires. You got charged about average. I think the water pump/timing belt is around $6-700 alone.

I'm about to pay off my Accord and just closed last week so I gotta maintain my ride too.

And good choice not getting another set of shitty Michelin Energy MXV's. They suck performance wise.
