Sonic Blue S60R

A new 2006 color.......has the optional titanium 18's.

I think it looks great, Volvo needed a distinctive color for the R besides Flash Green (which is now gone).

Very nice color. The cars do look great and have a nice interior.

I test drove an S60R 6spd last month to see if I wanted to try and lease a V70R (no manual trannies to be found in so cal with special order.)

Has that annoying CDV like 5 series bimmers....aside from that decent drive. The CDV made it hard for me to lauch so I didnt feel any power from the car til I hit boost at 2k....then it flew....but then plateaued at 5k...even though it redlices much higher....I like to know I can use the full power band.

The car was fun...I dont sneeze at them....in the future may still try and go for one....but my heart still like the Audi S4 wagons better.

Well, I cant afford two vehicles right now. And for my line of work, camera man, I need to be able to haul gear at times. I don't like/want an SUV (plus the higher rear entrances suck for my back) and I want to still have great performance AND a manual tranny.

My only two choices are a S4 avant or volvo v70R....I like both, but the S4 really blows my skirt up.

So, its kinda like the only vehicle out there that serves my needs.

Blue is the new black

That Flash green reminds me of oldschool Seafoam (green), I haven't seen that color on a vehicle since the old Vespas (I think the new ET4's have a similiar color).

It's a nice color, but I could never really get too excited about the S60R. It's a nice car, but just doesn't do anything for me.

I like the sonic blue. That's almost like WRX rally blue.

Is it a pearl color though? That blue + pearl would look absolutely hot.

Damn, they even shrinkwrap the brakes

Not bad looking, but looks too boring except for the color.

Why hasn't Volvo gotten away from the little windshield wipers on the headlights?

I don't think the S4 looks anymore exciting or C55 for that matter.

Most midsize performance sedans are not designs to die for.

The S60R is pimp, especially in a color like Sonic blue......add a light tint, maybe the oem bodykit.

Cool car and not very common.

I had the opposite experience.

Slow off the line, until boost kicked in...but that is most likely cause I am not used to a clutch with CDV in it (clutch delay valve) they annoy me.

And on the highway I was blazing...until I reached 5k where power just drops...til you shift higher to get a lower rpm back in boost range again.

I agree, the 3 setting active suspension is pretty cool. Didnt play with the radio.

I like the color. The car seems to be oddly high though. I thought they say lower to the ground?

They have an active suspension. I think if you go to the sport or advanced setting it will drop it a little more. Could be wrong on this one though.

They might have spacers in the springs for shipping over seas.

I was comparing it to my modded TL-S my car felt a lot faster at highway and slow off the line compared to this car
